When Dr. Dayan approached Kohan Architecture, his goal was to create a practice that not only reflected the Avance brand, but also balanced the precision of surgical care with the elevated experience patients expect from a modern medical spa.
Within approximately 6,000 square feet in Reno, Nevada, Avance Plastic Surgery was brought to life as a direct reflection of that vision, creating a space that feels unique to the brand while maintaining a timeless design aesthetic that will remain relevant for years to come.
From the beginning, Dr. Dayan wanted the practice to feel modern, sophisticated, and welcoming while meeting the highest standards required of a surgical facility. The approximately 6,000-square-foot practice includes two state-of-the-art operating rooms, nine modern exam rooms, and carefully planned core support spaces. As a QUAD A-accredited surgery center, every aspect of the layout was strategically planned to support best practices, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
At Kohan Architecture, we believe healthcare design should be intentional and deeply personal to each client. One standout feature that reflects Dr. Dayan’s personal style is the glass walls in his private office, which can shift from clear to opaque to provide privacy when needed.
